Guidelines for Assessment and Management of Tuberculosis in Individuals Being Considered for Anti-Tumor Necrosis Factor-α Therapy
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
has issued guidelines to help prevent tuberculosis (TB) during treatment
with anti-tumor necrosis
Any patient being considered for anti-TNF-α therapy must be screened for latent tuberculosis before initiating therapy.6087
